update…ive done a few 200k audax’s with another one tomorrow. Rides great, although I had to put modern shaped bars on after the first audax, as the position was too low.

I just ordered a Tange 3922 from a company called Hubjub. Couldn’t source the n55 in my size.

Also, there seems to be countless lock rings on sjs

Or do I just service what I have (just need a new lock ring as that was damaged when removing it)

It’s a 122 (a little difficult to measure as I don’t have to lock ring removing tool yet). But it’s defo longer than 118mm However sjs only had the n55 in 115 or 127

The Harry halls for audaxing so I need the comfort. Keeping period bars and the correct look meant the position was just too low. on the Galaxy I’ve had to put looks aside in favour of comfort. Hence the silly high stem/bars. Cheers

A little update. We also fitted some to my Galaxy aswell

I was going to service my new (old) Harry hall bike and Dawes galaxy cup and cone BB’s. But then I read I could replace them with sealed units. But there seem to be countless options. Anyone know which I should got for ( for durability and reliability) Thankyou

I’m selling this Stem I took of a bike I bought. The packaging is from a replacement (shorter) stem (thought it would be nice to include) The condition is great. Happy to supply more photos if needed £30 posted
