So this is what you went for back in the day if a brightly coloured klein or fat was just a bit..... gauche..... for your taste. At the thick end of 2500 quid for the frame alone, these were just too far away for teenage me to even dream of - my dream bike was much lower down the scale of things!, but now i own this one, courtesy of harryburgundy!

Plans are simple, transplant the full M95x XTR group, and thomson/syncros finishing kit from my kilauea, and go riding.

That is beautiful, I would love a Ti frame but even today the prices the used frames still command are well out of my reach.

Keep an eye out for Ti frames from less scene-taxed brands. I've heard of a KHS going for under £250....
 
tubes are fat. it sizes up similar to my 18in kona, slightly taller, but very close on the TT length.
