I raced on the Dt's for a year odd, stuffed them into a few dodgy landings and had no trouble with them whatsoever.

The 29" DT's i had where 570g and solid. You can find them for a couple of hundred if you look about Mark.

If it's anything like the fun i had trying to get a p29 i'd leave well alone.

The cranks- i'm fairly sure they arn't anodised. i've been asked to strip a set before. Also if you do strip them you can't re-anodise them, the push in axle is steel - a big no no. The rest? p'm me, i can get them sorted for you.

The anodic film is an oxide that eats into the substrate as well as grows. How bigs the part?

Well at 1p.m. i lost my cycling virginity. I was collected by a Chelsea tractor. Damage? 1 badly bruised foot and my 3 week old s-works roubaix is no more. But a big thank you to Dan who has just spent 4 hours sat at the hospital with me waiting to get x-rayed. You sir are a scholar and a gent.
