They are and the seals are cracked. Not sure if they can be brought back to life or they're needing to be replaced, but I'll take it in soon to see what it needs. It is a pretty sweet find, as long as it won't cost $500 to bring it back to life. Thanks again!

Thanks so much! I agree, the parts are pretty basic; I'm guessing this was essentially an entry-level Kona. We're thinking of at least seeing how much it will cost to convert to a 1x drivetrain (possibly stick with 8 in the back, but a bigger range) vs replace both cassette and the pretty worn...

This bike was abandoned next to a dumpster and I have checked through all sources and can't find any sign of it having been reported stolen. It's in pretty rough shape, and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth fixing or if I should just give it to one of those bike donation places. I'm hoping...
