I don't think it's a common issue, but if carbon wheelsets aren't treated well it can be a weaker area.

All the ones I see at that sort of price are usually rather worn or have damaged carbon around the spokes, but I understand if that's the budget! Mine will go on a future project if they don't sell- they would cost me more to replace. I also have Dura Ace Titanium Cassette 10 spd if interested...

Yes thanks, it has a Mavic SSC groupset, which the owner is aware of. I was hoping to let them know some info on the maker if I could find that out for them- but nothing obvious coming via online searches and like you, it's not a brand I know, but it's a high end frame!

Would be interested at the right price, though prefer those that have been taped vs glued as they will adhere better second time around since I use Tufo tape.

Thanks- I had seen the Strada Tubulars at Decathlon, good price but mixed reviews on roundness and quality: they are incorrectly described ref being latex (opinion is that they aren't).
