    Profile Al cranks?

Nice. I had a mongoose AMP bike way back in the day. That's a cool build.

    Wanted Profile alloy crank(s)

I'm looking for (either) a non drive side 175 mm profile alloy crank (or) a full set and n 170- 180 length to reequip a vintage xc race bike that I'm doing a gentle resto on. No rings/bb needed. Alternately, I'd take a pair of the vintage gt cranks made by profile. Both can be viewed in this...

    Profile Al cranks?

Thanks for that... Now I just need to find a set, or at least a LH side crank for sale!

Race/team bikes vs. off the shelf

Thanks guys. Dirty Sundays, it sounds like you might have some old race records around.... If you have anything on the 95 NORBA season I'd love to chat offline. I've talked to the builder and he shared one or two photos and the build sheet for the bike. I haven't had time to do much on the...

Looking for Englund air cartridge experts!

Thanks. I found them a month or so ago, but didn't bookmark the site. Still haven't tried pulling the fork down (lack of time and a couple of other bike projects, including rebuilding my wife's old fox fork)... finding a substitute for that proprietary ta cartridge socket might be a challenge...

Looking for Englund air cartridge experts!

Thanks for the offer. I'd venture to guess that we're not even on the same landmass. I'm in the western U.S.

Looking for Englund air cartridge experts!

Yeah, that is very useful! Not quite what I was expecting, but did answer all my questions and then some! Thank you.

Looking for Englund air cartridge experts!

Sorry, my bad. Englund is correct. I have a terrible memory for names! Anyway I know there were a few early air forks that used them as OEM (my old Judy among them). I'm just trying to get a bit of knowledge on the internals and how delicate, finicky, or robust they might be before I go tearing...

Looking for Englund air cartridge experts!

Or anyone who's been inside an Edmunds cartridge fork for that matter. So I was a bit surprised to find out that the rather toasty vintage ('95 ish) judy XC air on the Old race bike that I'm finally starting to rehab at least nominally holds air! However when moving through it's travel it...

    Profile Al cranks?

Nice find on the GT cranks, I hadn't uncovered that, but the old phil wood track cranks also near an uncanny resemblance to the profile product and had me wondering https://phil-wood-co.myshopify.com/products/track-crank

    90's vintage wheels... Red color

The width kinda reminded me of the old rhyno lytes I had back in the day but I've never seen this in anything but black ... Considering the bike they could be custom painted, in which case all bets are off.

    90's vintage wheels... Red color

Okay, so I now have one confirmed authentic, very grainy, nearly unrecognizable picture of the original owner of my Arrow riding it in a race.... The image isn't clear enough to see any real details, but the wheels definitely aren't the mavics that the bike is currently equipped with..... I'm...

Source for real brakes lever shims?

Thanks for the thoughts everyone. My shop setup is good enough that I'll be able to make something close to the original with a bit of effort. I just figured I'd see if I could buy one instead of spending an hour or three of my non existent free time. I appreciate all of the ideas. Trying to...

Source for real brakes lever shims?

Yep, that's the piece I'm talking about. I was really hoping it was a common or similar part to other levers that might be easily available.... At least I have one to use as a template!

Source for real brakes lever shims?

Btw, sorry as always for the lousy pics. One of the cable shims is missing even though it doesn't look like it
