In regards to the comment made on the BMC: there is some similarities, but there are some
mayor differences: seat-collar, bb mount and canti-hanger for a start.

Ran into the same issue with my Machine Tech brakes.
I would guess, a solution like Retro Spud mentioned will work best, adding a thin spacer/washer like on the Grafton's
