Why did you pick your username?

I've had mine since i was 9 years young and Adam Craven called me it at school for the first time due to the hairiness of my legs and arms. Funny though as he was a young hair bloomer too. It kind of stuck, especially when i took up rock climbing as a svelte teen. Plus ive been called worse so i...

I was going to say that i would ask my mum, but i think Paul has probably put you on the right track. I can't say that as a child growing up in and around Wakey that it was a name known to me.

Spending, say, a grand, on a bike to ride, in order to have less bikes.

I would stick a 36 on, it covers for most. Out in the flatlands i can do a very respectable pace with a 36x11.

    Tubeless Rim Compatibility.

i would go with the gorilla tape method, just make sure that you clean the surfaces with alcohol first.

    Tubeless Rim Compatibility.

I would never consider Ghetto for a road bike, with the low pressures for an MTB it seems to work well. At 10-15PSI on my fat bike it is spot on. For a 26" wheel i would try the gorrilla tape method with a slow build up to get the rim to tire gap down so it will seat.

    Tubeless Rim Compatibility.

Do a search for 'Ghetto tubeless' you can do it all kinds of ways on different rims.

Spending, say, a grand, on a bike to ride, in order to have less bikes.

I bought an ex demo 2016 Kona Hei Hei race in 2016, it still has some of the 90's arse up head down positioning but with more modern geometry and 29" wheels. Its as fast as my carbon wippet ,but also more fun to ride. I paid £850 back then and it is definitely a keeper.
