Urban RetroBike Revival - Sunday 8th November 2015

Mission accomplished - two tired but happy friends have just been returned safely back to Purley base camp. We had an unexpected rendezvous in Croydon with FlossyRockStar who was heading in the opposite direction in full road bike mode. Special thanks to Godders, the little Kona fitted Amelia a...

Urban RetroBike Revival - Sunday 8th November 2015

I have a couple of friends coming over from Greece next weekend and I am planning to take them on a bike ride around London on Sunday 8th November. I am likely to follow a neat route that was at the basis of the Urban RetroBike rides I used to organise a few years ago. It has been suggested...

I think you missed out on the other Urban RetroBikes so it would be great. But what are the chances of good weather in November ?

Mick you star, I'm sure it would be spot on. Are you coming along for the ride?

    A nice little ride today...

SINISTERKID if your question was for me; I don't recall much downhill in Oxleas woods, just lots of relatively easy cross country. I think there was additional riding terrain the other side of Shooters Hill along bridle paths and tracks by a nursery (plants). Nothing exceptional, but still good...

Need to borrow a small framed bike.

I have some biking friends coming to visit in early November, all the way from Greece and they want to ride with me around London. I have bike suitable for my mate, but his wife is quite petite so I am looking to see if anyone has a small working bike to lend for the day; a sturdy hybrid or...
