It was an upgrade to run one of these back in the day, I imagine there were plenty of perfectly good headset top caps left at LBS’s having been replaced by a shiny anodised one.

Nicely finished, road orientated frame bits too, the chainstays look deep, like Columbus Max deep, fork looks over-sized and Max dimensions too. Very cool.

Looks good to me, my 80s KoM also arrived with plenty of surface rust but I was confident it was Ok and have done a couple of thousand miles on it in the last ten years, mostly loaded touring. It’ll be fine.
