Lovely! It looks to be the same size as mine large/19" .... but with paint that isn't covered in scratches and chips :-)

1993 Fat Chance Yo Eddy Aquafade.

@Dr Dremel - yeah. I know. I'm just procrastinating in a way that only Teaboy can do. I should leave my bikes alone right now and crack on with the Imp.. As for this Yo we are all salivating over I have to say that the Ringle stuff is lush - I have an early red Ringle hub on my '90 - but its...

1993 Fat Chance Yo Eddy Aquafade.

As I've just stated on the Facebook fat chance foamers group this bike is perfect. I'm so tempted to re spray my '90 yo in Aqua fade but then it loses its provenance for me after having owned it since it was only a few years old. So instead I'll just admire yours and dream. Maybe I'll...

Scott CR1 restoration and build up

Yes- I bet! I can see how folks can start getting carried away retro fitting lighter bits on frames like these and chasing lighter and lighter goals :D

Scott CR1 restoration and build up

Oh and yeah- the bike is like a rocket heading uphill. No effort is wasted and it feels so good. Plus it rides really well and is more comfortable then I expected. Very happy with it! My second ride on it and I just kept going. Was so nice to be out on :)

Scott CR1 restoration and build up

@Mike Muz Yeah I can only cross my fingers and hope it lasts. The BB is as new and I made sure both cups wind in and out easy. To avoid corrosion and the cups sticking I have used copperslip on the threads. When I originally removed the stuck cups from the alloy inserts they were overly tight...

Scott CR1 restoration and build up

Ahhh yes I think I know what you mean too. Even though the addict was too small for me I took it for a spin and yes - outright race bike spec handling. The cr1 I know to be a bit more relaxed (and upright) because one of the Oxford shops I worked at sold scott bikes (Walton Street cycles-when...

Scott CR1 restoration and build up

My first road bike post on here :) I have been fancying a posh road bike for some time now after selling on my 853 Fetch road bike a few years ago (Fetches were a very limited run of custom build road frames from the 90s by some fella called Andy who build some commonwealth bikes?) Since...

    White YO Eddy

Damn this is lovely. But whats with the Yoeddy sticker being on the cable side? Ive never seen a white Yo before. Lovely! Just that bottle cage though.. I realise it might be period correct but it still looks odd on there? If were mine Id be fitting a normal alloy cage in black. But not my...

The story of my broken Yo eddy - with a happy ending :-)

WOW. January 2011 was the date I first posted here about my poor frame giving up. Time flies!!! So an update, a happy one at that, is here. My friend who was going to mitre the downtube and weld it in place for me was going through some tough times and I ended up getting the frame and tube...

    Show us your FAT CHANCE

Re: I never knew that Fat Chance made some with disc mounts. Cool. I bet they must be pretty rare though? I added the disc mount back in 2006 and it has worked out really well. After replacing the downtube I decided to also remove the old canti bosses for a cleaner look. I decided...

I've been badgering away on this little car... It was a rust ridden eyesore of a classic hb viva wagon.. now it's a less rusty eyesore... Rather than one finger type it all again you can read more of my viva problems here if interested... http://oldschool.co.nz/2011/forum/index ... t%20+wagon

Re: Oooh. I'd better put up a photo or two. I must get some better photos and I'll change them. But for now.. My 1997 ? Yo. I've only just pieced it back together since I replaced the broken downtube. It's a vauxhall viva colour btw... And my 1990 yo I've owned/raced/now ssing since 93 and...

SOLD--Bontrager Titanium "Ti Lite" (f/set requires repair)

Re: Bontrager Titanium "Ti Lite" (1996) f/set requires repa It must be the same size as mine - which is a bit cramped for me. They seem to have a shorter tt than other bikes of the time.
