Hi Tony, The piece I'm after can be seen in the foreground of this image. Also in the image are the generations of Smart light which I know came with these brackets, there will no doubt be others. I must have flung lots of these out over the years thinking I'd never use them. :rolleyes:

Its the little loop piece that most people throw away! I'm looking to install my light on a seat stay as I'm using a saddlebag. I have one on another bike which is stamped - CL- ø18. Cateye one's are not compatible. Cheers

In need of a 100mm stem for a recent bike purchase on this very forum. Looking for a 3T Record or Status quill stem, ideally in the gunmetal finish. 26mm dia. Needs to be in nice condition. Also open to doing a swap, I have a mint 3T status 120mm gunmetal finish. Thanks.

I also had the exact same frame, it was my first serious racing machine, bought new from my local bike shop back in 1987. I was 15 at the time & had to save for much of the winter months from my Sunday newspaper delivery job to fund it. It would ride to the bike shop every few weeks & pay off...

Thanks for the colour coding info I didn't know that. So I'm on the lookout for black spacers. If anyone has an old worn out maillard 8 freewheel with black spacers I'd be happy to give you a couple of pounds for it.

I'm not able to move axle spacers around because its a mavic hub, 130mm alloy axle with no spacers.

The spacers are all brown in colour. I have quite a few other 8 speed maillard freewheels from back in the day, they all have black spacers & they all work great on a Shimano 8 speed index setup. I rode the Velo Retro ride on this problematic freewheel a few weeks back using 8 speed index...

I can remember this model, it was available as a frameset, 531C in 1987-1988, Kingfisher blue. A friend owned one of these & I had the slightly better red, white & blue frame from the same year.

Thanks Foreigner, that does look nice, its looks a good size, the sticking point might be that it has a top bar. I'm in Scotland, but travel down south frequently. I don't use Facebook, maybe I'm missing out on some good finds on that platform.
