I think the mount should go on the inside as the bolts thread into the post to is adapter from outside. Strange the holes don't align, perhaps tolerance issue when made? Or wraps the hope and other mounts aren't sitting right due the the machining for the bolts as adapter should be inboard?

The decals you've cleaned impressively show there were dampers in both legs. The risse gem was an upgrade for sure. If it does indeed do both compression and rebound, it's weight saving as only the oil volume in one leg. Assume there is a dummy shaft in the other leg?

Look very clean. With regards to the elastomer stacks being a different size, they are also a different number count..1 side has 6, the other 5 so whether you go spring or elastomer, you'll need to sort that if you go the latter. You may need an additional judy Jax to join on the missing...

Any 110 BCD rings should fit, I'd take a look at what Spa cycles have as they tend to offer some decent own brand stuff at good prices along with other brands.

I'd go as far to say xc pro was better than the top of the line Shimano of the day (xt or m900). Imho it shifted better, looked better and lasted better. Yes, it had the frustratingly proprietary freehub on the hubs, but that was the only downside. I regret parting with a couple of groupsets...

Is the mount upside down? The adapter looks like an is to is, increasing rotor size a bit.

I might have a spare one. Need to check if it is spare or not and I'm not orphaning a set of arms. I know I do have a nos 11bcd m952 chain ring if you need one too. Been hanging on to it for ages as a replacement but the chainset I'd use it on has sat tucked away in a box with some near new...
