i need a crown race for a stronglight A9 headset (the old one with taper roller bearings in plastic cages). i have a crown race, but its loose on my forks, 27mm i think, but my fork is vanilla ISO at 26.4. anyone have a race, or a damaged ir incomplete A9?

not very retro but considered a bit dated now so perhaps old enough. i want a pair for my 1999 vintage 853 road bike build. anyone have a pair at a fair price (ebay prices do not seem reasonable to me). -Steve

Hi, I am intrigued to find out more aboutmy ribble 853 frame. the frame number starts with WF98Exxxx. i am guessing the frame was made in May 1998 (98 = 1998, A=Jan… E=May) i think xxxx is a sequence number i suspect. the question is what does WF signify, other ribble frames have a prefix...

i have a set of froggs legs which have a fixed toe adjustment (unless you bend them) and i want to prevent brake squeal. if there are none about i will just file the pads down a bit but it seems like a neat solution. you had bad experiences with them?

i have 170mm, British pedal thread. i dont think the 80 came in other lengths, the 99, earlier patttern, came in 165, 170 and 175 i think. -Steve
