A place to share your good ideas, techniques, materials and equipment - what have you got that works well for you? Thinking anything on a bike from tiny shifter / brake components to chains and sprockets, suspension forks and frames. I have half a mind to invest in an electric pump type parts...

Minty set of skewers with a good set of matching crank bolts in bluey/grey finish (very close to M95* colour). Crank bolt rubbers are cracking but these close up when inserted in crank. Looking to swap for a nice 34.9 high clamp, top pull M95* / M96* / M97* front derailleur.

Has anyone serviced one of these and could offer any advice / point me in the right direction for help / parts. Quick Google doesn't seem too helpful on this older shock. I've serviced Fox shocks so might be able to muddle through but any lead on procedure, parts and any cross compatibility...

Giant ATX 880 (Cu92) frame, original stem, bars, seat post/clamp + X-LITE bar ends (cos they're pink and match the decals). Size 21.5" and it's either a 97 or 98. Not exotic but very capable, light and strong frame. Well used but could would make great hack or could clean up quite nicely...

Friend has a Scott Genius MC 50 with a shot BB. This uses an E-type mech (and still has the original E-type specific BB as per pic) - question is, as these E specific BB's are no longer made/available what length would you replace it with to accommodate the mech bracket and maintain chain line /...

Anyone else enthusiastic enough to strip these down for servicing? Shame they used such a fragile finish on the springs.

Have a very nice drive side that came on a bike with a mismatched NDS so I'm looking to make a nice set if possible? Shown below with incorrect length NDS crank from another set to show what they look like.
