Hi all Recently bought a diablo frame to replace my encounter frame, I need to paint the forks and rear triangle red. Raleigh didn't use ral codes does anyone know what ral I can use to get a close as possible colour match. Cheers

Yep it's a sad one first retro bike since 2009 and what have I bought a proper Reck.

I wouldn't be that stupid to powder coat a bonded frame. Wet spray only.

If need be I'll completely remove the head tube and braze on a lugged one.

I presume only the head tube. Is alloy if that's the case. I will completely dis assemble it and braze a new lugged head tube on. It's a easy process if need be.

Picked up this very sad looking dynatech encounter today, it's in a very poor state, might struggle to get her looking good.more than likely she will need a full paint job. So first question what are the ral codes for the silver and blue please?

Built another one this time out of steel because it's real 😂 Fillet brazed BS 4 T45 came in at a reasonable weight 5lb 4oz 27.5 Geo set up for a axle to crown 515mm fork. So 100 to 120mm. Next one will be even lighter. Cheers
