Karma- pick up form Upminster Essex or will post at £5
Lightly used Cateye Micro Halogen light. Takes 4 AA batteries as a stand alone or 4 D cells in the separate battery case which fits into a bottle cage.
Old technology now, but really bright in its day.
My buddy has had these since he stopped racing in the 70s. They are very well used so maybe not everyone's cup of tea.
However, they either go in the bin or to a Retrobiker who may be able to use them.
£free for pick up in Upminster Essex, or you pay for postage. (I guess about £5)
Atom is...
Just finished building this up. I believe the provenance is that it's a Vic Edwards frame built for a customer of Buck Cycles.
Thanks to Sawston_Vulcan for the frame and various RB ers for extra bits and guidance on threads etc.
If it stops raining it will get its first ride today !
All helpful advice. Thanks chaps. I have found a couple of online sites that have most bolt types so I have ordered a few variants to try them out.
I have an inelegant solution with a quick release lever from an MTB, but I want to avoid that.
Yes I tried that. Of course if I run the wrong size tap through...
I guessed M8 first but backed off and tried the imperial, which actually caught easier. But that isnt necessarilly a good thing.
