I watched the lad do this on you tube, not a bad job, i think he said its an avanti mk1, basically a maveric 18 pro. I've got 2 of the sister bikes, mirage 501 1988, ozark 1989. looks like a full refurb needed.

Not the same bike, different cranks, headset, decals and stem.
