Had these Velos a week now, worn them every day for the commute, I love them. Really like the way they feel like normal (if a little stiff) shoes when walking round town..

The "stiffness" of the cheapo crap leather is exactly what worries me. Good during riding but dreadful during walking in town. Hate that feeling ...

It's a compromise I guess, they're much better for riding than walking, but they are better for walking than normal spd shoes.

Happy to say they ended up in the bin and I’m not able to share my shame with you all! It’s not going to help my cause by telling you they were delta cleats too is it? Don’t know what I was thinking, I put metal plates under the insoles and the cleats bolted to the sole. Not good for cycling or walking in the end.
