is it possible to cut down a threaded steerer and then use it with an ahead type stem. i seem to remember reading somewhere that the walls on a threaded steerer are thinner ?
i am planning on putting my manitous on the pine mountain and cutting down the steerer on the quadras to fit my RTS .
am looking for a MAG 21 but no luck yet
missed one on german e bay yesterday went a bit too high (with postage)

As long as NOS-isity isn't important you can pick MAGs up for peanuts. Just bought a pair off stw myself for a tenner. I'm only after a black mag/quadra brace so maybe we can come to some sort of convoluted swap deal.
