Show us your Scott!!

Number #2 of these for the collection has arrived today! :)

- brutally stuck seat post (SHIMANO XT *sad*) has been removed. I got the tools and I am Arnold Schwarzenegger. So I managed that! Unfortunately it was already dented during previous attempts by the previous owner.

- Literally EVERY single steel bottle cage screw was completely rusted and stuck in the threaded rivets. So they also rotated with the screw in the frame. Always the same shaite! All had to be drilled out and 2 of 4 brand new threaded rivet-nuts have been installed

- Steel stem was super stuck in the fork but I got it out eventually as well.

All in all, this cost me a whole afternoon in my shop and was a pure pain in the ass. But considering the purchase price and all the parts of the bike that can be sold again now, It was basically "almost" for free.

Still, not my size! I will keep on hording, until I finally find my correct size. I only have FUNKs that are either too big (22 inches or so) or too small like this one or my previous one in post #258.

Wait! ...except for my FUNK combat Titanium. That is indeed my perfect size! <3

Not a lot of retro Scott's on here.... :? I think it is strange as they did some very nice bikes in the late 80's and early 90's!

I nearly finished my 1992 Scott Pro Racing and really would love to see some more Scott's!

I cannot start a thread like this without a bike. So here is my nearly finished one:

Here’s mine. I picked it up today. I believe it to be from 1998 and it’s a Rockwood.
