As per the title, my 98 Stumpy hardtail needs a front mech. anybody have one thats in decent condition

98 stumpy will be 31.8 or 34.9

I think I’ve got a tatty 31.8 but working if you get stuck. £8 posted.

30.9mm will be the seatpost diameter but not the seat tube diameter. If it's an M2 frame you need a 34.9mm front mech - I have a 98 M2 Stumpjumper Comp.

Thanks guys, Yes its an M2 frame so 34.9mm sorry, im thinking of the internal for the seat tube i think. Maybe recheck fleabay if nothing turns up here. Will edit the post now sorry.
