The current state of my 1990 Diamond Back Axis. I'm about a week into the project, and am at the point where I'm done cleaning/rebuilding the original parts, and will now start replacing parts that have rotted away over the years.

Rock Shox Mag 20. A legendary fork. This one is a 1993 model, if I'm not mistaken, yet it still functions perfectly, and no oil leaks are present. Even the shock boots are pliable and feel like new.

My old-school Nike Nguba shoes. 17 years later and they still fit perfectly. The even have my old Onza HO clipless cleats on them (the pedals that everybody loved to hate, but I actually had a great experience with them).

Shimano XT Crank and Shimano Biopace chainrings. These are on a 1990 Diamond Back Axis, but you wouldn't know that they're old enough to drink legally.
