i picked this one up awhile back from my good buddy on here superretrodave. as always it took me some time to sort out a build. i'm sure there are some who will say.........and that is what you came up with. i did do a fair amount of searching to come up with some ideas. this is the outcome...

looks like the valkyrie came out to at least 2 toxik shows about 10 years ago. once before repairs and once after.

thanks BC yes i believe i brought this one out to one of the toxik shows. it was before i started work on it. mentioned previously here, cranks are TNT to match hubs.

i think kona maintained the 1" head tube on the low end models for a year or two longer than the better ones. but i would guess yours is probably 1 1/8". the 1" P2's are worth a few bucks. and are rarer. someone will want it. it is an option that could be used on a brodie.

i haven't had the opportunity to ride it with the new changes. plan is to take it out on next group ride.

had a beers and bikes session on a beauty of a fall day yesterday. sampling a couple local fresh hop ales i picked up this past week. as i mentioned earlier in this thread there would be a few changes happening to this one. not necessarily improvements to this build, but ones for the overall...

here's the last batch. the cranks are TNT to match hubs. pedals are sort of a hutch knock off. a japanese made bmx pedal. anyone notice the titanium spokes?

it has been a busy couple days with with having to work, thanksgiving here in canada and chasing down fresh hop beer, it's that time of year. but i have a few more pictures for you. there might be some duplicates along the way. there are some similar shots. more is better right?
