Okay you are correct! The XT pads are also called M70/R. And there were one for XT and one for XTR only!

Well ...as I said and from my experience (I was in need of several, too over the past years) its your (almost) only option! Next possibility would be finding a whole stem in super bad shape where at least the wedge is still intact. But I assume it will be equally expensive in the end.

I am afraid you will not get them "cheaper" as offered on ebay ... I also know that in the "Steel is real" facebook-group there are the ppl producing and selling them.

They are XT cartridge and will not (!) fit the M900 cartridge brakes! And as mentioned several times before: The M70R2 also do not (!) fit the original M900 XTR brakes.

d8mok what the hell are you talking about ...original XTR M900 pads are fairly rare ... quote some links or screenshots next time - instead of just babbling. Everybody knows that especially the M900 cartridges pads do NOT have any aftermarket replacements and finding the originals can become...

I have torquoise, purple 3DV, black and green. VERY limited quantities left though. I do them myself "by hand" so to say. PM me and I can tell you until sunday eve what I have left :-)

Nothing is "for free" :-) Not even your own work-time :-) But considering how many ppl get off on those old Yetis and how many people want one in comparison to how often times you even have the chance to get one is crazy! Which makes this a very good deal :-)

Pretty good deal. Especially if you are able to extract the seat post yourself, do a little welding job to repair the cut, reproduce a new side for the hub and have it anodized again. Then, sell the hubset, the hyperlite bars, the serviced fork and the headset. Nice project for a totally ok...
