no offence intended i think the reason havent sold it they usually go for around £40 per brake its difficult to price old stuff somtimes

my mate got alloy frame shot blasted he then left it his shed for a while you could little specs of rust where shot had embedded into it left a dull an rough finish no good for polishing i think you need walnut bead or soda blastiing if you intended to polish it

Success I have 3 bb tools but they are all missing the plastic cap

So the bolt needs to be the same pitch as the bb thread an it screws all the through My bb thread is approx m12 but I can't get anything bigger than an m8 bolt through the length of the axle as there is a step inside it

i ve used it over grey primer an its not bad to be fair , what you could do is is give it a coat of 2k laquer with some silver flake mixed in

i tried the 5p trick an its bent the coin an pushed it inside the axle i going to try a different way using a steel plate bolted through the crank extractor an a bearing puller

Attempted to remove this crank because the axle is hollow when I screw the tool in its not pushing against anything
