    You'll be able to tell if its the classic or not: look around the dropouts for chrome where the quick release breaks the paint.

    It's definitely not a 708 randonneur, I don't thinks it's one of the older ones either. I'm fairly sure they all had mid-blade rack mounts on the fork. Nice cranks though.     the half chainstay bridge and the spoke holders on the non driveside chainstays are fairly unique on a Raleigh.
