    Geoffrey Butler - Ishiwata 017

Found on Flickr in the USA. Fork is not like mine so I'm guessing my fork was either replaced for esthetic reasons or because the previous owner had a bump? 😀

Stripped Crank Thread - Not Pedal Thread 🙁

Stripped Crank Thread - Not Pedal Thread 🙁

Hello Is anyone aware of a bicycle shop in London or north Kent or the south east in general that have the tooling to carry out this job? Maybe Helicoil but I do favour the 23 mm re-tap option as I have a TA crank puller. Have a very good week :)

Cheers Tooty Just being a bit self indulgent as there are far more worse things going on...just a bit fed. Thank you for the info. Thinking of buying a better quality crank extractor and making notes to remind myself not to forget about the sodding washer! Because I will...lol

Stripped Crank Thread - Not Pedal Thread 🙁

As Edmund Blackadder once said: "Satan farts in my face once more!" I have sadly stripped though not the whole thread on my Dura Ace drive side crank arm, not the pedal thread 🙁 I forgot to remove the washer and the crank puller kept going around and around until tiny slithers of aluminium...
