I’ve nearly got everything now: matching USE bar and seatpost. Mk1 hope QR’s. Pace stem RC-50 front hub, silver ti-glide rear, both NOS. RS2 cranks. Magura brakes. Flite ti saddle. RC35 and rc30 forks - prob go with rc35. XT running gear. 231 rims.

Silver stem cap still needed, to go with silver PACE 1 1/8” stem, so X-lite is the first that springs to mind 🙏🏼

As I thought. Anyone who has a bar and original shim, can they post a pic so I know what I’m looking for 😀

So I am correct in thinking that USE bars did have USE shims as opposed to people just buying aftermarket ones? I’m doubting myself unless anyone says otherwise…

Before looking on tinternet for generic shims, putting out the feelers to see if anyone has a genuine USE bar shim? So 22.2 to 25.4mm shim - correct me if I’m wrong on any of this. Thanks, Santa 🎅🏼

No, too much other stuff going to get another bike. Heart said “do it”, head won over and said “leave it for someone else”……I start o new job on Tuesday and kids start secondary school too, throwing “another” bike into the mix is just the wrong time……besides, I’ve got my RC200 to work on.
