So when is the first TT, Mike? Do make sure you put a bunch of miles in on the bike before going for it. These TT bikes handle VERY differently to regular road bikes. Definitely make sure you do a windy ride and its a good idea to get a front wheel that hasn't got such a deep rim as a reserve.

You might need a support between the nose of the saddle and the top tube . Looks like this Dont know what the proper name is or where to get them.

That serial number has definitely been messed with. Combination of dremel and center punch.

The threaded section is a smaller diameter than non threaded. You can use an ahead stem on a threaded fork if you use an adapter that replaces the quill stem that would normally be used.
