At the moment, mine is all XT 739 except for the derailieur and normal inner tubes. I am currently looking for another seatpost as the one that's on it right now is quite heavy. The bike weighs 10.1 kg and I guess it will stay that way as I want to be able to ride some bumpy trails.

Yesterday I rebuilt the rear wheel and I am more than happy that I bought the complete set of spokes. Every single nipple was corroded, it felt like 32 seized seat posts...what an evening. But I'm happy so far. The wheel still needs to be centred.

The first ride through the summer then was a blast, of course. But the bike also performs really well on local trails. I kept the bag, of course. And with Christmas just around the corner, it's very useful for storing the batteries for the lights... Cheers!

On my bikes from Germany with dynamo mounts, it's actually 2 to 1 for the rear wheel, but both of my Kuwahara bikes also have the mount at the rear, and they're made in Japan.

In the 1994 catalogue the bike still has the groove tube, the cable routing for the rear brake looks the same, it is LX equipped and the colour black is mentioned. That's why I guessed it's a 1994 model.

I'm pretty sure. But maybe this pic helps: The 'all terra' and 'karakoram' used to be orange. When I found it there was an LX group on it an when I looked into the 94 catalogue it matched. I could be wtong though 😬
