Pics of the set I've got. 560mm wide. One end has slight car end crimp, but it is very slight (right hand side as sat on the bike). A few marks, logos are there but not as crisp as they left the factory. Shim is present and original.

Above is true, but I have a few sets of avid brakes spare, sd7 etc.

Should be possible, it's just a riv-nut. My LBS wouldn't touch one I needed doing due to it being a carbon frame too, but in principle repairable.

So a few options for you. Depends on your current ratio and whether a single ring from the 2 orphans will work, or a full set. The chain set I have is currently running 5 arm spider and rings.

Another option is a race face ring I have. Pictures with some other rings to show it fits.

Next u, a brand new Shimano ring. I fitted it to a set of cranks ready for a build but 8 didn't use it in the end so while it's been fitted, it's never seen a chain.
