    1995 Breezer Lightning

Ok so…well…actually… You know what? I will once again (try) to ignore the fact that dream bikes seem to always find their way to you somehow…and concentrate on the fact that you seem to live close to a bike paradise. Man, how I would like that!

130mm Rear Hubs. What You Using?

Thanks a lot for the clarifications. I am now having second thoughts of the process though cause according to @Tootyred: So it might worth getting a 130mm hub and building a wheel in the end.

130mm Rear Hubs. What You Using?

So no redishing the rear wheel is needed if I am to convert a 135mm to 130mm? Cause I was thinking of cutting off 5mm as well instead of going through the whole ordeal of finding a smaller axle, disassembling the hub and insterting the new axle. Anyone has tried this approach?

    Diamondback Ascent ex ltd.

Looks so cool! I see you have some fat rubber fitted. That's what I did with my YoEddy too...went for as big of a tyre that could fit leaving some small clearance....Then it's about getting the air pressure right and it can handle a lot more.

Who made Front & Rear U Brake Frames?

Indeed quite a few frames prior to 1988 had them until riders started complaining with their performance in muddy conditions. TREK 8000 from 87 comes to mind. They are more difficult to set up correctly but if you pass this stage and have a good combo of rims / brake pads you are in for a...

    Anyone knows of Caterpillar bikes?

The EASTON stickers, seat and chainstays in the radavist article gave it away.

    Wanted TREK 8000 (1987 - 1989)

Hi everyone, I am looking for a TREK 8000 frameset from the late 80s. These were made of EASTON aluminium and had the rear brake in the chainstays. They were usually in red or the white / blue team combo but can also be found in other colors. The size I am looking is small or medium. Here is...

VTT français? French MTBs / Components / Info / Pics etc.

WOW This really looks like a keeper to me even in smaller size. Peugeot did some internal welds at the time too but tubing was not so spicy as this one. Stunner really! Anyone has a link with MBK catalogues?

VTT français? French MTBs / Components / Info / Pics etc.

I was not even aware of the Routens brand. I mean I know of the legendary rando Routens but I don't believe they are related? Anyhow they look very sophisticated tubing wise and welding wise too. I am curious to see if anyone will come up with a build thread in the future. I would love to see...

    Twisted tubes, bike ID required

And the plot gets a new twist... 😇 It's supper interesting to see more brands experimenting with twisted tubing. Having these tubes on lugged MTB it's even more special.
