It is not what I would recommend a "newbie tandem rider" to buy.
Being aluminum and that old, raises safety concerns, for the historic tandem.
When I have time, I will look for mine. I remember that I had to cut away part of it in order to fit on my Cook Bros cranks. It was so long ago, I don't remember the name of the manufacturer. It might be the same, probably is, mine is black.
If this is not a BSA, does anyone know what makers had vertical headbadge rivets the same distance apart and serial numbers on the drop out?
