Find it strange that Raleigh were putting cable guides on top of the BB in 1984 when my 1982 Gran Sport has the more modern method ?

From ebay,had to spread them a bit to match her other bike. Nice and light aluminium,same with the brake levers which i saved off an old Peugeot. Put Schwalbe road cruiser 700x35 on it and it roll's along lovely.

Test ride,and she likes it ! :)
