    M569 / M739 outer chainring problem

And the lock ring goes on this far?

    M569 / M739 outer chainring problem

Even finger tight though, it shouldn't wobble. You sure there's no debris in there?

    Hollowtech crank removal

I made a 'tool' years ago which was basically a spare bolt with a length of threaded rod hammered into it, screwed on from the opposite side so the rod was flush with the end of the spindle/axle for my tool to push against. The 'tool' being the green part.

Some Retrobikes passing through Bikeworkshop in Bristol

First time I ever heard of Bristol was in English GCSE. We studied a book called 'Junk' about hippies, heroin addicts, anti-capitalism, crime, prostitution, squatting. No mention of statues. I got an E. The T.V. adaptation included a - presumably stolen - Vauxhall Nova. I've always been...

Damned internal routing. Best way to replace a rear brake hose?

Welding rod, or wire coat hanger.

It’s getting HOT in here ….

Look good. I tried a set on my lightning but on the red crank arms it was too much. This looks right though.

I love that tacky lock and tape around the saddle. Maybe you should paint just one brake arm black?

That seat post actually looks like a good idea IMO.

    Bleeding xt brakes

I don't know about these specific brakes but I've done a fair few moped/motorbike brakes this way, from the days of buzzing around on Peugeot Speedfights and the like which were rubbish. Just nice and steady at first to make sure the caliper is full and all the air goes up the line.

Where are you based? Are there any storage facilities nearby? In the U.K. there are yards all over full of shipping containers that people rent, where mine is based is like a small community.

Great news. Ebay drops seller charges!

Looks good actually, might even get my old laptop out and save even more. Cheers.

    Cannondale Killer V? Kent

Don't know my Cannondales so apologies if this is the wrong place but it looked 1997. https://ebay.us/m/rCWurt Looks good for the money, I messaged the seller but unfortunately he's either got no idea how eBay works, or he's just an ar5e. I think it's the latter.
