Yes it's staying purple. It's a nice colour in the sunshine, doesn't look so great in my photo though. It does look a lot better now cleaned and wiped down, the shine has returned.

From the frame number it's a 1992 frame, most TC prefix bikes on here are Schwinn, but there is also a Ridgeback.

Thanks guys. I found that my wheels have very thick rim tape. Tyres are much easier to fit when the rim tape is off, so I might get some Velox tape and try that instead of the rubber stuff. Failing that, I'm considering getting some different wheels.

What size is it you need? 15 or 20mm and what width? Is the disc brake side leg threaded for the axle?

Flip it upside down and check the frame number!

Brake is an Avid BB7, with a genuine Avid Post mount and Avid rotor. I'm not sure on the fork as it's a bit newer than the Bombers I'm used to seeing. It doesn't look big or beefy enough to my eye to be a 66 though.

It's a 1994. Serial starts U4 but what's the full number please? Just curious if it's older or younger than mine! Might also help to see if frames were made in batches. Ta!

What was the full frame number? All that was visible in the photos was RZ01106 - that looks to be a few digits short.
