For Sale Mach by Rodi - Pair of rims/one wheel.

These came to me on two different British Eagles - both quite decent spec, one was 531 and the other an alloy e-stay (EXS) frame. I guess both firms were under Falcon ownership and probably shared suppliers... quite unusual rims these days, and quite nice IMO.

On a PC now... yes I count 36 holes.

For Sale Mach by Rodi - Pair of rims/one wheel.

You’re not being stupid! If someone is able to count the spokes in the pic that would help - I’m currently on my phone… both rims are the same! Incidentally I did put a suitable front LX hub to one side which would be ideal for making a set - happy to throw it in for another £5. Got a box...

    What's this then?

Yeah cheap factory built wheel. All spokes and nipples intact - I think box had been used for another wheel set previously.

    What's this then?

Found it in the box of a rear wheel I bought off eBay. Looks very familiar but I can't recall where I've seen one before.

    Forestry England Roads

Interesting stuff. I usually look for bridleways and green lanes (often it seems these are marked ambiguously) on OS maps as being cycle friendly - forestry roads are also indicated but as above I've struggled to ascertain what the rules are re usage. At the main Haldon site many of the...

    Wheel building

I've built a few wheels. Once I did manage to get it wrong (mixed up the pattern) but generally they've turned out pretty good. I would say don't bother with a tension meter unless you have zero mechanical sensitivity. Personally I've found doing it by feel is accurate enough (always better IME...

    Forestry England Roads

Probably a silly question, but I was born in London, so when it comes to riding off road I'm still a clueless townie in many respects. Now I'm lucky enough to live in Devon. There are quite a few Forestry England sites around here, centred around Haldon which has designated bike and walking...

East Dartmoor adventures on the Marin - Edited Extra Exmoor Epilogue

Inspiring stuff - I moved to South Devon (from London) a few years ago and am ashamed to admit that I've not managed to get my bike up to the moors yet. There are so many green lanes etc. locally that I've yet to explore and it's so rare that I get a full day's riding in - a quick blast around...

    Sold 160mm Triple Crankset - £28 posted

Good quality triple crankset in very nice condition with only light marks, threads and tapers are perfect. I bought this a few years ago for a kids bike build - It's had light use since then and is still in really nice condition. It's hard to find short cranks like these - would also suit...
