    To Suspension Fork or Not

Looks way more skinny than 1 1/4" to me. The early (pre 92,iirc) M-frames didn't have that.

    To Suspension Fork or Not

Mag21 would be the gold standard (pun intended). Easy to maintain and great spare parts availability. Mind the steerer size. Might be 1". What you might also enjoy is a riser bar. Having the bars lower than the seat in this day and (mostly) age some might consider more reasonable fora...

    Something a little more racey!

Maybe you didn't notice. But there seems to be a scratch on your DogsBlox frame. It's right in the middle of the "R". Looks like a womans b.. No. Its a nose. A NOSE.

    Shox Mag 21 seals recommendation?

Oh, I made a mistake: I wrote metric. I meant to say they are imperial. Sorry 'bout that. The rest still aplies.

    Shox Mag 21 seals recommendation?

The seals in a Mag fork are all off the shelf metric parts. You can basically order them at any store (at least here in Germany its no problem to get those). Don't cost too much. But you'd have to go through the hassle of measuring them. You should be able to get them for less than half of what...

Can regular brake pads be used on ceramic rims?

I found that with the magura brakes and mavic ceramic rims, the ceramic brake pads would only be good on a fresh set of ceramic rims. The ceramic coating is quite coarse when new but whenever that coarseness has worn down, the standard brake pads will work better. Today I don't have any...

    1993/94 Kona/Sintesi/Iron Horse/DBM Verlicchi Downhill bike

A few days ago I stumbled upon a local ad. It just said "Full suspension Mountainbike with top of the line components". Reasonable price. 280 Euro. This is the pics from the ad. Doesn't look too shabby. You can always use another set of racelines. That Marzocchi bomber Z2 - I've always wanted...

Maybe you can find one of those bi-plane forks? Might fit the theme.

1991 Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo

XT would be too obvious? Maybe LX then. Nice looking frame though. Might look good with a set of neon yellow racelines.

    boy"O"boy's 1989 Serotta Off-road Pro-flex prototype

That red looks great! How do you paint the parts of the frame that it is resting on? Did you hang it on something and only put it down when it was dry?

    Antwack's KLEIN Pulse

I'd say its 97 or 98, but I'm not too sure. 96 would have had bottle cage mounts underneath the lower tube. And in 99 there was no Pulse mentioned in the catalogue any more...

    Antwack's KLEIN Pulse

Nice looking project. I like it. The frame seems to be a "pulse comp" Trek era frame. The pre Trek pulses (and the Pulse IIs ) had internal cable routing. About the "missing" canti hanger, you can buy seat clamps with integrated stops. Or use one of those stops that are attached to/by the seat...
