I remember lusting after this bike at covent garden cycles. Bought a GT, something in between a tequesta and karakoram; nice but the stumpjumber was lighter and better.
It looks great... except for the seatpost: i believe the bike predates that syncros by a few years. Anything single bolt w/ setback will look right. shimano, suntour, nitto... even kalloy will look better.
Not the same frame by lots of miles. Tubing is entirely different and care during welding as well. S works tubing was designed by Mark Di Nucci, a highly respected frame builder and inovator.
Parts like aheadsets are a dime a dozen. Frames like the sworks are not.
