Kona Ku Serial Number List - update 19/09/25

I believe it’s the same as a Kula from the same year.

    97 Ku build & now a 98 Ku

Here’s a question for Ku owners but likely also other Kona models So we are all aware of the glow in dark decals which came out late 90s /00s but possibly i can reveal something I’ve never seen mentioned. Our garage is in complete darkness as it has no windows. Which means I never go in...

👋 New here: GT LTS 1996. Advice welcome!

Yes I’d agree with that. Was that one you have the first generation of RTS with the steel rear end , roller brake thingy and original cable routing?

My 93 (the first year) RTS is below. I’ve seen the later 94/95 ones with 00 start as well as STS too.

I’ve had quite a few LTS1 and DH and from memory they’ve had the 00 start but couldn’t say for sure as it’s from memory. My 97 LTS 1 that I currently have does have that format for sure though.

Kona Hot Serial Number List - update 14/11/25

I’m over here zooming in on houses and the steering wheel to make sure I’ve not missed this in the UK 😂 LHD car I assume means I’m safe. Thats very cool and I think I like it without the decals.

This is the correct format for a USA made LTS. January 1996 in a 18 inch.

Kona Hot Serial Number List - update 14/11/25

We need pics. Likely best to post them in the Titanium Kona serial number thread though. I’m jealous as I’d like a score

    Kona Collection including Kona Score

I’ve certainly never come across anyone who does it but I’ve seen many people asking over the years.

What's happened to all the "stuff"

Doubtful as anyone wanting to buy a bulk deal wants it at a steal. Even full bikes don’t release anywhere near the parts would. I’ve no issue with slowly splitting it all up once the time comes as I don’t need a quick cash grab. I think the only bikes which would stay complete to sell would...

    1994 Kona Explosif

Yes pretty much as I expected. The retro content on my Instagram has a large amounts of views from countries which I wouldn’t expect such as Indonesia , Argentina, Peru etc - also mixed in with the more expected places. If that’s the case ref prices - surely it’s worth importing them as frames?

    GT Zaskar 1997 – Build Thread ❤️💛

I’ve had quite a few Frost Red 97 frames. A massive issue as I’m sure you are aware is that they turn dull / pinky rather being deep red (as yours is doing) You can buy coloured matte wax for cars which helps to add some colour back to them but also retaining the finish. Admittedly it’ll...

    1994 Kona Explosif

I always find it interesting how location plays a massive part in how rare or desirable a bike brand is which then directly affects its value. GT is my likely favourite brand as we had one of the UKs largest dealers near to me. Which means we have an abundance of old GTs around here. ( But...
