The F at the beginning of the serial number stands for Fairly Bicycle Company, a Taiwanese frame manufacturer. As I said, Parkpre Italy are not connected at all to the defunct Parkpre USA.

Very odd saying you managed to get a reply from Parkpre, they went defunct in the late 90s. Parkpre frames from this era were made in Taiwan not USA. The only framesmade in USA were the few early Ti frames built up by Litespeed. Parkpre Italy is a completly different company started after the...

I would say your bike is one of the later models, perhaps 1998. You can get suitable rear brake noodles from motorcycle parts dealers.

Very nice. Regarding the 'Titianium plated finish' - it is actually nickel plating with a clear laquer over the top which gives the impression of a brushed ti finish.
