It’s more the colour of the cage as it should be at least a dull silver. That blackened colour suggests a poor replacement part to my eye.

Factory fitted seat post so nothing too exciting but that rear mech still looks dodgy.

Yep, though front qr maybe not be original and the rear mech cage doesn’t look right but I haven’t looked up the spec for that year. Could be a bargain though as the rest seems to be all good. May have a punt if I can think of a way to hide another bike from the wife.

My first “suspension bike”. Loved it. This looks quite original bar the forks. Worth £54 at least.
