Yes, will likely pull the cables into the ferrules as you say. Could also try to (manually) locally bend the outers to help the transition. Looks loads better I think! 👍

If you want that layout at the front to avoid cable rub on the headtube/set you could change the rear layout if the seat stays cable stop is in a kind position. At rear of top tube the rear shift cable on NDS going round seat tube / under seat stays to stop. Front shift cable on DS. I'll take...
