Wanted Parts needed for upcoming 93 Kilauea build.

As promised, some photos of the XT front derailleur (I may post in a Sales thread). Clamp is 28.6mm which is the wrong diameter for my new project.

    Bikes and trains

Waiting for a train home at Warrington West train station after acquiring this beauty a few months ago. I was impressed with the general condition and since replacing the forks for the 2x4 rigid forks, replaced the seatpost, handlebars and tyres. I'd say it is about 97% original now. One of...

Help me decide on my brake colour

Does that mean that my blue cable outers are no good on my yellow Bravado? See profile picture... it doesnt work for all bikes with the exception of this one. I do prefer black cable housing too, to be honest.

Wanted Parts needed for upcoming 93 Kilauea build.

I just had this front derailleur in a groupset but it's the wrong size for my project, so maybe you can make use of it. We can agree on a price once I've posted some photos of it.

For Sale GT 1992 flip flop stem

That is actually a GT flip flop stem from a 1992 GT Avalanche (20" frame) not 1991, the 1991 Flip flop stems were fatter than this one. Sorry for the correction.

    Bikes and trains

I had a model of that green train in the 80's that I bought of a friend, and like the real train I loved hearing my model train on my HO tracks in the attic. I sadly sold the train many years later and came to regret that decision very soon after, like my 1993 GT Zaskar that I sold in 1994!

    Bikes and trains

I wondered how long it would take me to find a photo of a bike with my favourite train in the background... I was born in the Netherlands and remember those trains, though at the time I used to travel to school most of those trains were in a yellow livery with a blue band around the windows for...

    Wanted GT Flip Flop Stem

The one in the picture of OP is a 1992 model, more slimline version than the 1991 flipflop stem, which was fatter and heavier. GT only made the flip flop stem for two model years as far as I know (have checked the GT catalogues for these years. Different lengths corresponding to the frame sizes.

    24 inch GT

Yes, as far as I know that was the biggest size frames GT made, but only for models below the high end (Karakoram, Tequesta, Timberline, Talera, Outpost)

    Wanted GT Flip Flop Stem

Depending on the length of stem you want, there are some for sale on eBay (US). But as I am after a 120mm length stem (1991 for my Zaskar) they're much harder to come by. https://ebay.us/m/ieGo9s

    Old school bmx

Robinson and Auburn were at some point part of the GT group...good quality bikes. I did want a Robinson Ruckus at one point because I liked the all black look. Matt black with gloss decals...never got round to buying one as I changed interests, preferred to go for mountain bikes instead.
