Sadly it's dawning on me that restoration will not be possible - the seat and back were formed by cold-foam mold to achieve their shape - no longer available. 😢

Finally bought my first piece of MCM, granted it needs some restoration but given that its 65 years old its in quite remarkable condition. Oswaldo Borsani P40 Lounge Chair produced by Techno, the company he and his brother founded.

My Touring has had a swirl flap delete and stage one - incredible difference in terms of power and delivery, apparently 245bhp and 500nm now. Fun :)

Rust worm definitely is a thing and that could be it -anyone with experience of older steel frames could have experienced this - like veins under the paint. Hard to tell from the image though.

Happy days - took my Alfa in for an early MOT and general check at local Alfa specialists - another advisory free MOT and their comment was - it's immaculate, we can't find anything that needs attention. Not bad for a 28yo Alfa :cool:

The Coupe is a ‘lowly’ 323 2.5 straight 6 - in reality fast enough for most and a great cruiser. The Touring with the green interior is the 330d which I didn’t really want but almost impossible to find an exact specification. I’m not a fan of leather - even my Alfa 146Ti has a cloth interior.

Well I’ve bought myself another 3 Series E46 in Fern Green - this one with green cloth interior. Love it

Just swapped everything around on my new Pro5 wheels and the 12t Token lockring is incredibly tight to the extent that I don't want to wind it on. Surely the Pro5 HG freehub just uses the standard lock ring?
