    I've often wondered about this too. My last school bike is a Raleigh that I still have now, nearly 40 years later. I love it and I'll never part with it but it's a 23.5", because everyone had them that size. If I could wave a magic wand and make it smaller I absolutely would.

    Who rode a gas-pipe bike in the 70s?

    I have a real soft spot for anything old with non cast dropouts, plate steel seatstay/chainstay bridges, etc that’s survived this long. I’ve said it before but we should have a botm category for super cheap/unexceptional bikes one month.

    I'm kind of lucky I own my dream car. e36 evo coupe in estoril blue. It's in the process of restoration atm though. It's my forever keeper car hopefully.
