cheap 26" Tyres at banana industries

get 15% extra using SUMATRA15 it's for a good cause too ...from Dave: I’ve been a bit asleep at the wheel this week. Shame on me. Fully in my own little bubble, pottering about. Meanwhile, some of you know we’ve been deep into projects in Java and across Indonesia – reclaimed and salvaged...

Update from Paul Wilson, the Jan 4th event at Manchester Velodrome is now cancelled :-( Sadly it seems there were issues with where it was to be hosted - so will now not happen. This does make me more determined than ever to host events in Altrincham in the new year so watch this...

    Diamondback Axis TT (Team Titanium)

The starting price is not an indication of what the seller will accept for this and I think the reserve is set considerably higher. It's still a great buy at 400-500 imho, will be interesting to see what it goes for if there is a buyer out there.

early Harry Hall rescue mission and build thread...

some progress and some minor setbacks: fitted vintage NOS dia compe cantis, the canti stops are tiny ( single hole) and there is little room for modern cantilever arms ( I learned this when doing an Orbit CX resto recently that had Mafac) This bike had weinmann cantis originally but were...

Is retro cyclocross bikes a thing?

... other mid school options exist too - the venerable surly crosscheck though a bit heavy and with comparitively relaxed geometry can turn its hand to a bit of entry level cyclocross - I have since made this one more 'gravel' spec but it was in a CX style before

Is retro cyclocross bikes a thing?

yes this is an early frame and not that much tyre clearance - 32mm-35mm rubber only (it is UCI CX spec after all) plus limited axle width unless you reset the frame. More modern options exist - I recently uplifted a couple of Kinesis Crosslight Aluminium CX bikes ( for my...
