    Update.. Thanks all for advice once again - I went ahead and got it welded up by a local guy in Swansea for £20 - he said I could have got a new bike for the price but I had to insist the little Massif was retro and worth it :LOL: Thought as the bike was free and otherwise in ridable condition...

    That postcode was discontinued in December 1992 according to Royal Mail, they did that a lot at this time unfortunately... Was probably quite a broad postal code which was split into many smaller ones after 1992

    Thank you all - I think that settles that :LOL: I don't know any welders unfortunately but will ask around on local facebook pages. If not - is scrap the best option? I doubt there are many parts on it worth saving Thanks again
