Retro Newbie
Owned since new but not used for over 10 years, its time to pass on my Y Bike.
This is still one of the lightest, if not THE lightest full suspension frames ever made. I also have a Yeti ASR5 Carbon and the old trek is lighter!
She's in good condition considering her age, everything works well but the forks could do with a bit of a rebuild as the elastomers are probably past their best.
Frame is classified as small (I think) but actually feels quite large. I'm 5'7" and this bike would easily suit someone up to 5'10/11"
Frame has NEVER had an impact, shows no signs of damage and only has the odd scuff. Paint is lovely but laquer is slightly peeling in areas.
Seat: Flite
Bars: Kalloy
Front and Rear Mech: Shimano XT
Gripshift 7+3 shifetrs
Wheels: Mavic 217 rims and Hope hubs with special snoflake designed spoking
Brakes: Dia compe PC8
Pedals: Included but not shown in pics are Shimano SPDs
Top tube measures 57cm and seat tube is 50 CM
This bike cost £3000 originally, so good value at £300 and gaining popularity with the retro scene.
